Below is a standard size guide (body measurements) we use as base measurement requirements across all styles. Please note these are not measurements of the garment. Please see each garment product description for more information on the style and fit.

All garments are labelled in AU (Australian) sizes.

How to measure:

Place measuring tape (or if you don't have one) a piece of string will do the trick! You can place the string around you then measure against a ruler.

Bust - Measure around the fullest part of your bust
Waist - Measure from just above your belly button or the smallest part of your waistline.
Hips - Measure around the widest part of your hips.

There's no official Australian standard sizing. That and our bodies are all different.. some styles of clothes will fit differently. This is why we have a return policy 😉 and all our model info in the description to help you. Perfect example with this sizing chart, you may notice some models who's measurements are more or less than the body size chart above. This is because the size chart is just a base line to fit people generally of that size. However depending on the style, your body shape and how you like to wear your clothes (loose or more fitted) you could size up or down.

An example with our sizing S (10/12), M (12/14) If you are a size 12 for example you would go with size S (Small).. but if you want more of an oversized look, you could go with the M (medium). You may also find your size is not available but you fit another. It all depends on the style and how you like to wear it. And you can always reach out if you have any questions at all.

We are only just dipping our toes in clothes (that sounds so weird). But I definitely know a lot about clothing.. and the more comfortable it is, the more I'll wear it. And that's definitely the goal over here. As well as effortless style, something you can slip on add some awesome earrings and go about your day/night!

Fabrication mid-lightweight, unlined (not see through at all) with a slip on fit.
Babydoll Style - Loose and flowy down your lower half. Take the your lower size option for a more fitted upper half or the higher size option in your size for more of a loose fit look. (For example I own both the L and XL in this dress. L is more fitted around my bust and the XL gives a looser look on me overall).
Shirred back – To help adjust to your bust and back size.
Adjustable straps – To help with your arm and shoulder width and how much of your chest you like to display.
Bump friendly
Pockets - Large hidden pockets on each side.
Sits just above knee depending on height.

I created this for the lovely that doesn’t want to cover it all! And why should we! And hey, if you do - that’s ok too! This style looks amazing with a crisp white tee (or a colour of your choosing) and tights! Perfect cooler month styling. Great with a nice cardigan over the top and for warmer months worn as is! In all of it’s flowy colourful glory!

Please make sure your address details are correct (we cannot be responsible for incorrect addresses) and please enter your correct email address at checkout. You will be notified via email once your package has been packed for shipment. You will receive your tracking number in this email.

International:

We ship worldwide! At the bottom of our website you can select your currency. Our online store prices are converted to your currency automatically with market exchange rates at the time of placing your order. Shipping rates are based on Australia post rates converted to your countries currency. All international orders come with tracking and require signature on arrival. Express flat rates vary between $20 - $39 AUD (if you select your currency you will see your conversion rate price). Once you checkout and enter your address you will see your shipping charge.

We ship International within 1-4 business days. International express shipped orders are usually received between 4-6 business days from post. Some countries may also charge a customs fee on imported purchases. Our GST tax is included in the price. Your country may have additional taxes so please check your local postal guide for these rates as these are not covered by Hey Polly.

We package with care, and all items delivered are wrapped and boxed in a satchel. Hey Polly cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged items through post. This is extremely rare and can be taken up with your postal service.

We ship worldwide however some states/countries can currently not receive parcels. I am notified of this when entering your address to print your postage label. Christmas / Holiday Delivery Dates:

We don't really go on holidays here. So our online store is always open for you to shop. However please note Aus orders placed after the 18th of Dec and international orders placed after the 8th of Dec may not arrive for you in time for Christmas (based on Aus post express advice). Orders placed between Christmas (25th of Dec) and 2nd of Jan - Will be packed and posted by the second week of January at the latest. I run my business solo and will pack/post in between social activities this time of year. Once your order has been shipped you will receive an email with tracking info so you will know it's on the way to you!

Afterpay / PayPal:

Afterpay is a service currently available in AUS and NZ.

Sometimes (and this sucks but no escaping it) if someone is checking out on afterpay for example and PayPal and it’s the last item, it can over sell.. and there’s no way for me to fix that. It happens to all small biz that use this method. SO if this happens to you, when I am packing you will be refunded for that item if it over sold. This is rare but can occur.. Keep in mind sometimes I will release the design again in another restock so you may have another chance to get what you’re after.

Please note if payment is made via PayPal eCheck - Packing and posting will not occur until the payment has come through. If payment takes longer than 3 business days we will attempt to reach you via email to discuss. If we do not get a response your order will need to be cancelled.

Additional orders (combine orders):

We regularly release new designs and restock extra popular designs. Due to online traffic and demand when they go live, some of you lovelies have found it handy to place more than one order. We offer the option to combine orders. This is due to the high demand of some of our pieces and for those of you that like to check out more than once. If you choose to do this within the hour of placing your first order you are safe to do so. However if its been a few hours/day please check with us first that we haven't already packed your order.

If you choose to place another order after your first. Please pay for your first shipping on your first order then any additional orders please use code “COMBINE” at checkout. This is to be entered in the discount code section (not notes section) so it’s able to remove your postage cost for you. This is simply so you can have your order shipped together without paying additional shipping. If the code doesn't work it may be that a sale code is currently active. In this case checkout and reach out to me and I will refund any additional shipping you have paid and combine your order for you if your order has not already been packed. xx

Please note the fulfillment system I use will automatically identify duplicate names and addresses so your orders are combined. If your name and address have any differences (even a full stop or space, OR if you checked out for one on your phone and another from your desktop) it will not combine them and they will be shipped separately. So please double check that.

Sometimes your order is packed well before you receive your tracking info by email. So it is best to place your second, 3rd order etc. shortly after your first. As once your order is packed you would need to pay additional shipping if you are doing a further shop. If you have placed more than one order and accidentally forget to use this code. Please reach out to me and supply your order numbers and I can sort it out for you. If you placed orders only using this code and didn't pay any shipping I will hold your order until your shipping payment is sorted. So please only use the code after you have already paid shipping once. If your in AUS and your first order hits free shipping offer that also counts. xo

💛 Design / Fabrication / Care Info

Design: Hey Polly original textile design and exclusive print. Illustration and dress design created by me (Peta/Polly).

Fabrication: 96% Polyester 4% Spandex (Feel: Polyester with a silky smooth feel. Spandex gives the fabric a slight stretch)

Care: Wash inside out in cold water. Hang to dry (don't tumble dry) This fabric dries quickly so there's really no need. You can iron on low damp setting inside out.. but you won't need to. If you hang it up after drying there's no creases. (Care instructions can also be found in the inside of your garment)

💛 Fun Fact 💛 If you are a pet owner like me. One of my favourite parts about this dress and fabrication is.. When I pick up the dogs their hair doesn't get stuck to my dress. I don't need to use a lint remover or anything it just slides right off. Love that for me! and for you too if that's something that bothers you. 😂

💛 Returns

We understand all bodies are wonderfully different and offer returns within 14 days of receiving your item. Which means you have 14 days after receiving your it to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
